What are the benefits of getting all of my medications from one pharmacy?

Getting all of your medications from one pharmacy can help prevent harmful drug interactions. Sometimes different pharmacies don’t communicate properly with each other. This can create a problem with some of the medications you may currently be taking. If for some reason you’re being prescribed different medications by different physicians it can cause unwanted drug interactions and side effects that could be dangerous to your health.

It may also help prevent any issues you may have with medication management. If you’re utilizing the services of multiple pharmacies it can lead to some confusion for patients. Especially when medication prescriptions need to be refilled. Filling two or more prescriptions at two different pharmaceutical sites can make managing the logistics an overwhelming task for some patients. Some pharmacies may need you to pick up your medications in person while others may deliver them to your door.
